Issues fixed
Performance issues on AMD GPUs
- AMD graphic cards users are strongly recommended to use the latest Catalyst Beta drivers.
Frosting effect on AMD GPUs
- Disable the MSAA anti-aliasing if you also have motion blur enabled.
Minimap icons and fine-aim reticle disappear
- This issue has been reported fixed by several users after changing resolutions and restarting the game. However, it does not seem to be a consistent fix; many restarts and changes may be needed.
Voice audio not playing during cutscenes
- Go into whichever audio manager you have, turn off 7.1 surround, and restart the game.
Low audio volume
- Some players reporting low audio volume.[1]
Game stuttering
- Many using the game with Uplay are experiencing stuttering on any setting, even with sufficient power. Turning Uplay into offline mode before launching the game has fixed it for many, but will disable online play.
- Players have reported that setting Textures to "Medium" seems to stop the stuttering all together until Ubisoft provides a fix, as the texture streaming technology for this game needs optimization.
- Some have also reported that using Level of Detail on "High" instead of "Ultra" allows the Ultra textures to be used on newer mid-range cards (760 and above) with minimal stuttering.
