Issues unresolved
Performance issues
- Several reports indicate that performance issues are present[2][3][4][5][6][7], even on hardware that is within the listed system requirements.
- Lowering the in-game graphics options does not do much for performance.[8]
Exclusive Fullscreen Mode stretching the chosen resolution to the current desktop resolution
- This happens when using a desktop resolution with an aspect ratio that is wider than 16:9 widescreen, regardless if aspect ratio preservation is enabled in the NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Radeon Software.[9]
Issues fixed
Max resolution of 1920x1080 or 2560x1440 when using a monitor with DPI Scaling set to higher than 100%
- The game limits resolution options based on the DPI Scaling settings set in Windows. For example, if a 3840x2160 resolution is being used, but DPI Scaling is set to 200%, the in-game resolution will be limited to 1920x1080.[10]

---|---|---|
Direct3D | Despite the system requirements listing a "DirectX 12 compatible" graphics card being required, the game uses DirectX 11 for it's graphics API, and the operating system requirements list "DirectX 11 equivalent". |

Notes
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below
%PROGRAMFILES%
,%PROGRAMDATA%
, or%WINDIR%
might be redirected to%LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore
on Windows Vista and later (more details). - ↑ 2.0 2.1 Notes regarding Steam Play (Linux) data:
- File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data.
- Games with Steam Cloud support may also store data in
~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/990050/
. - Use Wine's registry editor to access any Windows registry paths.
- The app ID (990050) may differ in some cases.
- Treat backslashes as forward slashes.
- See the glossary page for details on Windows data paths.

- Tested with a Radeon RX 5700 and Ryzen 7 2700X using MSI Afterburner. Using API Wrappers like DXVK doesn't improve performance either.
- ↑ Verified by User:KingKrouch on 2020-07-16
- Tested by lowering graphics options and adjusting the in-game resolution. Based on testing, raising the in-game resolution to "4K Native" on an RX 5700 nets equivalent performance to running at 1080p.
- ↑ Verified by User:KingKrouch on 2020-07-17
- Tested by changing resolution options and by having "preserve aspect ratio" checked in GPU control panel.

- Tested with a 5120x2160 custom resolution and 200% DPI scaling on a 2560x1080 monitor. When the 1920x1080 option is selected in-game, it centers on the screen similarly to what would happen at 2560x1080. When selecting 2560x1440, the image appears zoomed in, due to having a higher vertical resolution than what typically happens with native resolution.
