Widescreen Support
Although the game installed at a fixed resolution in 4:3 format, the game is capable of running in widescreen at modern resolutions. Compatibility Settings
Issues with the game may be corrected with compatibility settings. The Steam shortcut, however, does not allow this. To run the Steam version with compatibility settings, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization III Complete\Conquests and right click on Civ3Conquests.exe. Select properties and set the compatibility settings.
