The Nintendo Swtich is a hybrid video game console released by Nintendo on March 3, 2017. It is the 8th-generation video game consoles.
The Switch is a hybrid video game console, being able to switch between Handheld Mode on-the-go, and Docked Mode for home video gaming. The Switch is powered by an Nvidia Tegra X1 SoC with 4 GB of unified system memory (LPDDR4). It utilize the proprietary, flash-based game card as its game media format, and has 32 GB of internal storage. Its primary controllers are the Joy-Cons.
The updated models, the Switch Lite and the Switch OLED, were released on September 20, 2019 and October 8, 2021 respectively. The Switch Lite is a traditional video game handheld, with buttons and joysticks integrate onto the handheld itself. The Switch OLED has the LCD screen replaced with a OLED screen. Both models were powered by an updated Nvidia Nvidia Tegra X1+ SoC, with the OLED model having a 64 GB of internal storage.
