Denuvo Anti-Tamper

Executable obfuscation secured using hardware hash. Results are stored in .dlf or dbdata file depending on the game.

Examples: Dragon Age: Inquisition, FIFA 14, FIFA 15, Lords of the Fallen.

FADE/DEGRADE

Triggers fake bugs; not clear whether this can/will erroneously trigger for legitimate players.

Examples: Arma 3.

SafeDisc

Default version of secdrv.sys ships with Windows. Disc root contains other files; see SafeDisc FAQs.

Smarte

Examples: Dungeon Siege II.

StarForce

Use SFUPDATE to update StarForce driver. Use SF Helper to detect StarForce version used by game.

Steam

See User:Cyanic/Steam DRM.

SVK Protector (SVKP)

Made by Defendion aka AntiCracking Team (defunct). Installs SVPK.sys rootkit driver.[1] Full behaviour not known.

Examples: Gothic II retail (may be only certain regions/editions).

Themida

Made by Oreans. Obfuscates executable code.

Examples: Mount & Blade, Mount & Blade: Warband.
