- 22:24, 24 March 2024 diff hist +661 Centipede: Recharged Linux port's mouse control is weirdly broken. Added description of problem and the only fix I know: running the Windows version instead. I don't see any compatibility issues with Proton 8.0 (current latest non-beta/experimental version). The Linux port is fully playable with other control schemes (keyboard and gamepad), but listing "don't use the mouse" as a fix is probably not appropriate.

- 23:16, 9 March 2024 diff hist -5,312 User:Outoflives →Pseudo-templates: Remove bloat I don't use anymore. These should have been written better in the first place. Someone — I don't know who — rewrote the "Use Proton 5.13-6 or older" fix I'd added to the Max Payne page, changing it to a list format, which is better. I should do that next time I add such a fix. Incidentally, that one might be unnecessary as of Proton 8. Anyway, I forgot I had this stuff on my page and will forget again if I leave it here, so there's no reason to keep it.
- 22:19, 9 March 2024 diff hist 0 m Centipede: Recharged Use of "Unknown" as a release date causes PCGW to show a tooltip implying the game is incomplete, which was not the intent. (The Linux version of the game seems generally buggy but is "finished" as far as I know. This is not an early-access game.) Using lower-case "unknown" appears to prevent the tooltip from showing. This is a hack but I don't know what to write here because the Linux and OS X versions seem to have appeared at some point after release with no official announcement.

- 04:43, 9 March 2024 diff hist -4 m Psychonauts →Steam Cloud not working (Linux): Using the "file" template is probably more appropriate when referencing the paths of links that are to replace the folders that don't exist anymore.
- 04:26, 9 March 2024 diff hist -2 m Psychonauts →Steam Cloud not working (Linux): The trailing slash (`/`) that somehow got added to the last argument of each `ln` command is incorrect. If the folder `/foo/bar/x` is removed, then you can't do `ln -s /foo/bar/y /foo/bar/x/` because that means putting a link inside of the removed `/foo/bar/x` folder, whereas we want to put a link where the folder was.
- 04:31, 8 March 2024 diff hist -353 Psychonauts →Steam Cloud not working (Linux): Break paragraphs into ordered lists for readability, and remove most of code blocks (because frankly the symbolic linking is the only part which isn't self-explanatory and which might require a command line)

- 03:30, 8 March 2024 diff hist +140 Psychonauts →Steam Cloud not working (Linux): The numbering that was added here implies two steps for one fix, rather than two mutually exclusive options. I'm splitting this into two separate fixes just to clarify that this is absolutely not a two-step process.

- 03:23, 5 March 2024 diff hist +1,988 Psychonauts Added notes on Steam Cloud for native Linux version. As far as I can tell, saves between the Windows and Linux versions are compatible. Setting XDG_DATA_HOME to the game's parent directory got the game to load a save I'm quite sure I started on Windows. Setting links got it to upload the saves I made on Linux. I would mention Proton as a fix for using Steam Cloud on Linux, but I don't know how well Proton actually runs this game nor whether any additional tweaks are required for that.

- 18:51, 16 December 2023 diff hist +10 m Dusk The exact wording from the similar note on The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is probably better as it doesn't imply that "Dusk HD" and "Dusk - Moddable" ever had Linux/macOS support in the first place.
- 18:27, 16 December 2023 diff hist +95 Dusk The Linux and macOS versions of the original game still exist, but the "DUSK HD" DLC is Windows-only and the "DUSK - Moddable" option in Steam on Linux tries to launch a non-existent Windows executable. I assume this is the appropriate section to make note of this, based on The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth's page having a similar note in this section.

- 17:09, 3 November 2023 diff hist +16 m Psychonauts →Camera spins when using controller (Linux): Minor clarification that "(Linux)" doesn't mean "with Wine/Proton" in this case. (If the same bug occurs when running the Windows version of the game on Linux then I haven't heard of it.)
- 16:50, 3 November 2023 diff hist +1,125 Psychonauts →Issues fixed: Added camera fix for Linux version. This fix is mentioned in a couple of ProtonDB reports (https://www.protondb.com/app/3830/#ARxkPaQRU and https://www.protondb.com/app/3830/#IbG3pWHouI) but I have also verified it personally.
- 00:46, 2 October 2023 diff hist +240 Cold Fear →DXVK issues: crash before main menu, corrupted graphics (Proton/Linux): Proton 8.0-3 doesn't seem to have a problem. Meanwhile I can no longer reproduce the bugged graphics I saw with Proton 7.0-1, because Proton 7.0-6 seems to crash before the menu like 5.0-10, 5.13-6, and 6.3-8 did. Oh well.
- 00:34, 2 October 2023 diff hist +22 m Cold Fear →Reduced color depth (Proton/Linux): Fix references to versions. I wrote earlier that this issue still occurred with Proton 7.0-1, but I'm not seeing it in the version that superseded it (7.0-6), nor with the latest stable Proton (8.0-3).
