Topic on Store talk:Humble Store

Do we *really* need the list of games?

Looking at the stores on Category:Digital Distribution, Humble is the only store page that has a complete listing of all the games on it, which makes me wonder if it's really necessary. Most of the information in the table is replicated in the Availability section of each game's article and any info that isn't there can be put in there pretty easily. Anybody have any issues with the table being removed?

No, it's pretty redundant. I didn't even know it existed. Though there's also this on that same page "This means that some are intended to be private and not used by general consumers." So idk, I guess that's the reason as to why it's there.

Wait for someone else to post though, I have no idea what it really is used for.

Reason for the list is that it contains humble widgets, the ones you can find on developer/publisher/official site, not the games on storefront. Reason for the list is that if at some point website hosting the widget is taken down, widget are taken down from the page for some reason or widget wasn't available publicly to begin with, it can still be accessed trough direct link and those usually always have the US price instead of other currencies on humble store.

There are some overlapping with games availability table for sure, but there are multiple cases where this is not the case and availability table never links directly to widget, always the site where the widget is.

I have actually used this list couple times now for said reasons and it seems to be maintained by anon pretty well. If it's too much of a bother, then that section could be just converted into it's own list instead of being a part of store page (somewhat relevant link: http://community.pcgamingwiki.com/topic/1810-pcgamingwikis-projects-and-lists-overhaul/ ). At least it's much easier to maintain that humble bundle list was and it basically got out of hand.
