Topic on Talk:Wolfenstein: The New Order

I had abysmal performance with the Steam version on Win64 bit running an i7 CPU and an R9 270X. I had something like 5-10 FPS, stuttering (including during videos), desynced audio, the works. I managed to fix the problem by right-clicking the game's executable (WolfNewOrder_x64.exe), going to properties, compability, then forcing the game to run as administrator. This completely resolved my performance issues. Normally games ask for admin access so I thought it was strange that Wolf didn't, but the fix isn't really all that obvious. If anyone else can verify that this fix works for them, I guess you can add it to the wiki.

Apologies if I'm not doing the right thing here on the Talk page, I don't really know my way around this side of wikis.

This could probably be done under the "Fixed Issues" section (http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Wolfenstein:_The_New_Order#Issues_fixed), just use a fixbox.

didnt work for and also might not for other but might work for some, apparently there are few fixes and not all of them work for everyone. might find out more in this guide http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=262160625

For god's sake, I hope we are really not going to assume a 2014 game with steamworks has problems with user privileges.
Besides, even if that was the case, performance is really not between the possible issues.

It's obvious that problem is somewhere else.

For example, this is an id tech 5 game.. why you don't just check RAGE fixes I found some time ago?
Like, say, the fix about suttering and problems with 64 bit version and its weird parameters?
