  • Using less cores on a quad core makes the game runs worse, stupid.
  • Process priority doesn't change much, you do gain 3 to 5 fps, it's barely noticeable.
  • Disabling the shadows and the post process effects makes the game run far better, more testing is needed. (interiors - 54, 60 FPS, outside I'll probably get 45 - 50 hopefully). Oddly enough, the game still has shadows enabled, that's has to be the most ass backwards thing I have ever seen.
  • FPS capped at 60, bullshit.
  • Disabling v-sync is a must.
  • I don't really see many benefits to running the game in a windowed mode, framerate wise.
  • disabling the shadows greaty helps, the post process thingy can be left on seeing as it has no performance gains whatsoever.
  • giving the saboteur.exe a real time priority helps the game reach higher average framerates, gaining up to 3 to 6 FPS, really helpfull in this case even if the gain is minor as we are still avoiding going under 30. The average being far higher anyway.
  • playing the game in a window doesn't seem to be changing much at all, I am not sure though
  • beta patch - I'm not sure if there's any performance gains, overall it feels the same)

Why we should recommend to disable shadows specifically?
It should be normal that when performance sucks you lower details.

Besides, is v-sync disableable or not?
Because this post and actual information reported seems to imply different things

And take a screenshot of SaboteurLauncher, given that some settings are there
