Controller support

The games shipped with full controller support and re-bindable controls, however, it is not fully compatible with modern controllers such as the Xbox 360 Controller, and you may experience issues, especially with the use of the left thumb-stick.

Issues and Fixes

Patches

Although there have been no official patches, there is a fan patch currently in development for the PC version of the game[1]. It aims to reduce bugs and improve graphical quality.

Refuses to load past initial copyright screen

This problem tends to appear on newer machines running Windows 7. To fix the issue, find the .exe file which is usually found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Vivendi Universal Games\ and right click on it. Here, click on properties and go to the compatibility tab, change the compatibility settings to Windows 98/ME and also tick the following:

  • Disable Visual Themes
  • Disable Desktop Composition

The game should now run perfectly on most new computers.
