Issues fixed

Installer won't run on 64-bit operating systems

Use a 32-bit executable[1][2]
  1. Copy the content of the CD in a folder.
  2. Download this generic 32-bit version of the InstallShield 3 setup engine.
  3. Extract the file in the folder along with the CD's content.
  4. Delete SETUP.EXE and rename the new file after it.
  5. Proceed to install the game with the new executable file.
The folder may be safely deleted after the installation is complete.

Game runs too fast

Cap the frame rate at 30 FPS[2]
If using RivaTuner Statistics Server, detection level needs to be set to Medium.

Mouse controls are nearly unresponsive

Decrease mouse polling rate to 125 Hz[2]

Background music doesn't play

Patch the executable with _inmm.dll[2]
Applying this fix breaks control over music volume. It is recommended to increase sound effects and speech volume then lowering the overall game volume instead to get a decent mix as the music volume is very loud by default.
  1. Copy all the .wav files from the CD to the game's root folder.
  2. Download and install _inmm.dll.
  3. Open _inmm.dll Setup
  4. On the Method tab, make sure that .wav's method is set to DirectShow.
  5. Select the _inmm.dll tab, then click Add.
  6. Go to the game's root folder and select all the .wav files.
  7. Select Save and save the .ini file in the game's root folder. Close _inmm.dll Setup.
  8. Drag and drop tenka.exe onto _inmmcnf.exe. Select OK on the prompt asking to confirm the patching process.

Cutscenes don't play

Set Windows compatibility mode on "Windows 95"[2]
