Key points
- Natively supported by most modern games (after installing the drivers).
- Controllers can be used wired connections (via micro USB) or wirelessly with the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows (supports up to 8 controllers).[1]
- Newer controller variations include bluetooth to connect controller wirelessly to PC.

Windows
Official drivers have been released.
OS X
Use the Xbox One Controller Enabler.
Linux
The Xbox One Controller is natively supported by distros using Linux kernel 3.17 (or later). Vibration is currently not supported.[2]
Issues unresolved
Incompatible games
Some games have issues with the Xbox One Controller. Refer to the individual game pages for details.
Issues fixed
No force feedback vibration in DirectInput games
- Install Force Feedback Driver for Xbox One Controllers.[3] Some games will still not support vibration even with this installed.
Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)
- Open Windows Update and ensure all Important and Recommended updates are installed.[4]
