Crysis
Template:Infobox Crysis (series)
Crysis is a game developed by Crytek, published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, and released in November 2007. It is the first game of a trilogy. A standalone expansion pack entitled Crysis Warhead was released on September 12, 2008, and follows the events of Crysis but from a different narrative perspective. Crysis, Crysis Warhead and a multiplayer expansion called Crysis Wars were re-released as a compilation pack titled Crysis Maximum Edition on May 5, 2009. At the time Crysis was released, and years thereafter, it has been praised for its milestones in graphical design (commensurate with high hardware requirements). The sequel Crysis 2 was released in March of 2011, and Crysis 3 is currently in development.

Issues
- If you are experiencing crashes while changing graphical or controller options, try disabling your Anti-Virus software, if you have AVG or Norton 360, this is most likely the cause of the crashing. In AVG you can add an exception by going to Advanced Options > Add Exception then navigate to Documents/My Games/Crysis and add the exception this will fix the problem without having to disable your anti-virus.
