Use with PC platforms
- The PS Move API is an open source library for Linux, macOS and Windows to access the Sony Move Motion Controller via Bluetooth and USB directly from your PC without the need for a PlayStation 3. Tracking in 3D space is possible using a PlayStation Eye (on Linux, Windows and macOS), an iSight camera (on macOS) or any other suitable camera source.

Virtual Reality

- Supports body tracking for most VR tools (e.g. Oculus, Index, Vive) and controller tracking emulation for Vive.[1]
- Not free of charge.
Amethyst
- This app provides body tracking in VR using common devices.
- A VR headset is still required.
- Supports many different devices, with plugin support to add more.
- Can use a Kinect or PS Eye to track the Move.
OS X / Linux
- Sportsfriends has the minigame Johann Sebastian Joust, designed specifically for the PlayStation Move Motion Controller, with custom native drivers provided for OS X and Linux.
Linux
- Psmoveinput is a userspace Linux input driver that gives users ability to control mouse pointer movements by moving controller and map PSMove keys to common keyboard keys. It's based on the unofficial PSMove API.
