PlayStation Eye is a camera originally designed for specific PlayStation 3 games, and which can to some degree be used on PC as a webcam or for head tracking.
Originally designed and released as a standard motion-detection camera, it ended up becoming mandatory for spacial detection of PlayStation Move controllers on the PlayStation 3.
Having ceased factory production around 2013, PC drivers were since made for it to gradually expand its versatility on PC.
