Starengine is a heavily modified and modernized Amazon Lumberyard game engine. All work on modifying the engine was carried out by Cloud Imperium Games. The company is currently used this engine to develop two projects: the multiplayer open-world sci-fi space opera Star Citizen with early access and the single-player story prequel to it Squadron 42.
