General information
Inputs
- 1 × non-clickable trackpad
- 1 × non-clickable analog stick: LS
- 2 × digital triggers: LT or RT
- 2 × digital shoulder buttons: LB or RB
- 8 × digital buttons:
- Con L: 4 × digital directional buttons (D-pad): ↑, ↓, ←, →
- Con R: 4 × digital face buttons: 𝐀, 𝐁, 𝐗, 𝗬
- 2 × digital functional buttons: ◁ or ▷
Use with PC platforms
Windows
- Connecting the controller should automatically download and install latest drivers for the controller.
- Applications Steam Link and Moonlight allows to map touch buttons to physical buttons. Controller does not have analog triggers or pressure sensitive buttons, so this method is able to emulate every physical button properly.
XInput wrapping
- Being a DirectInput controller, it's possible to use any of the generic wrappers. See the controller article for those.
macOS
- Applications Steam Link and Parsec allows to map touch buttons to physical buttons.
- Requires smartphone to be able to pair controller with PC via WiFi connection.
Linux
- Applications Steam Link and Moonlight (host needs Sunshine application installed) allows to map touch buttons to physical buttons.
- Requires smartphone to be able to pair controller with PC via WiFi connection.
Steam
- Can be recognized as Xbox 360 controller but after manual assignment. Controller cannot be found in Supported Controller Database, so Steam recognizes it as standard DirectInput device.
- Requires PC streaming application support eg. Steam Link.

- The Black Shark Gamepad 2.0 Stand is an accessory designed for the Black Shark Gamepad 2.0 only. It is a small and lightweight stand that can turn Black Shark Gamepad 2.0 into a wireless pro controller.

- Touchpad is placed on the front of the controller, the capacitive type touchpad is a non-clickable 1-point touchpad. The functionality of the touchpad can differ from between games but usually emulates mouse. Recognized gestures: swipe and scroll.
- There is no software which allows to emulate DualShock 4's touchpad basic gestures.
- Number of games which natively support touchpad controls is limited and touchpad support is still not a PC standard.
