Modify settings file[citation needed]

  2. Open settings.txt.
  3. Replace the line which reads Support Multithreading := FALSE with
    Support Multithreading := TRUE
  4. Save your changes.

Borderless fullscreen windowed

Space Empires V falters if borderless fullscreen is forced directly, and will not recognize mouse input or update the screen.

Set window size[citation needed]
  1. Open <path-to-game>/Data/HUDSettings.txt
  2. Adjust Windowed Width and Windowed Height to desired values.

Notes

For borderless fullscreen, these values must match screen resolution.

When window size is set in config file, you can then force using your favorite utility.
