Program Error

The game falters on systems with more than 2 GB of RAM. After launching the game, you need to Alt+Tab ↹ to see the error message.
Use Texture Fix[2]
  1. Download Railroad Tycoon 3 Blurry Texture Fix from here
  2. Place d3d8.dll in <path-to-game>.
Launch Windows with less memory[3]
  1. Launch MSConfig.
  2. Undert the boot tab, click Advanced Options.
  3. Check maximum memory, and set to 2048.
  4. Reboot the computer.
