This is currently a draft article, and is not currently in use.

Welcome to the PCGamingWiki Moderation queue: this page's purpose is for PCGamingWiki users to log dispute threads in its Talk page. This includes, but is not limited to, disputes that arise from users or staff breaking rules as stated in the Code of conduct or the Editing guide, whether this is on the Wiki, Community site or Discord.

If you would like to log a dispute please provide as much detail as possible:

  • The users involved, using the syntax:
    [[User:Username]]
  • Direct links to the 'diffs' in question. Diffs can be found on an article by clicking the 'History' tab on any article, and then direct linking the 'date/time' link of the offending change.
  • If possible, please quote the specific rules that have been broken.

Moderation processing

  • Moderation queue will be processed by Moderators who will acknowledge the dispute and then discuss with other Moderators internally.
  • Moderators may temporarily lock the article in question, only if it becomes necessary.
  • Moderators have the power to temporarily prevent users from editing, pending a decision.
  • A decision will be the outcome of at least two Moderators in private discussion.
  • Further discussion can be made on a thread within #moderation-queue on Discord, do not directly message Moderators on the Wiki or on Discord.

Appeals

Please message Andytizer directly, if you want to do the following:

  • Log a dispute anonymously, Andytizer or another Moderator can post on behalf of another user.
  • Log a dispute against a member of Staff.
  • Appeal a Moderator decision.
