Issues and Fixes
Crash to desktop

Flickering
Flickering screen on start up.
This issue was experienced on 9600GT graphics card, workaround is:
- Right click on game and select 'properties'
- Select 'Set Launch Options'
- Enter -windowed into the dialogue.
- Click OK, Close - start the game
Once the game starts, you can then maximise the window to play fullscreen
On newer cards, this issue stems from playing the game at a none native resolution. If you'd like to play at a different resolution, change your desktop resolution to that resolution. (this works for resolutions that are of none-native aspect ratio as well). Playing at a non-native resolution does make light from flickering (think fire, flickering eerie atmospheric light) light tear on the monitor.

delete your clientregistry.blob file
Browse to Steam Install directory
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam for 64 bit
- C:\Program Files\Steam for 32 bit
exit steam, delete the file. Reopen steam
Uncutting
- Start the game at least once, so it can create all configuration files.
- Go to your Killing Floor installation directory (for example
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\KillingFloor
), then go in the directory called System - Open the file KillingFloor.ini
- Search for the [Engine.Engine] part
- Paste
bdevgoreoverride=True
at the bottom of the [Engine.Engine] configuration block (so it looks like this) - Save the file, restart Steam and enjoy your uncut game
System requirements
- While Intel GPUs are not supported, the game is playable with one.
