Installing retail version on modern systems
- The following installer should get around an issue related to the game not installing on 64-bit operating systems.

- Extract the contents from Disc 1 and Disc 2 in a folder.
- Download this installer (alternate) and extract it in the same folder, then run it.

- Go to
steamapps\common\Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine\Resource\Cog and open TEM_introCut.cog with a text editor program.
- Find line 171.
- Add
player = GetLocalPlayerThing(); below # Draw imp#1 and above SelectWeapon(player, 14);
- Save and close the file.
