Configuration file and save game data location
- The file
prof.sav
contains over-all game progress. - The file
continue.sav
is only generated when pressing 'Save & Quit'. - The file
settings.ini
contains all settings. - Save games are full cross-platform.[1]
- This game follows the XDG Base Directory Specification on Linux.
Quicksaving
- It is possible to 'quicksave' by saving and quitting, and then making manual backup copies of the
continue.sav
file, and restoring them when one dies.

Widescreen resolution
- Allows for either letter-boxing to 16:9 or stretching.
- The game is designed for the resolution of 1280x720 and is not meant to work in lower resolutions. A later released patch has added experimental support for scaling the game to fit smaller resolutions.[2] This however requires a recent enough graphics card with support for the relevant features.
