Founded
[[Wikipedia:Our company was founded in 2007, originally named as CD Projekt Magyarország Kft., as subsidiary to the Polish CD Projekt. Since then, we released more than 1000 PC and console games in Hungary. The reasonable prices and the quality localization made us the gamers’ favorite. In May 2010, CD Projekt Magyarország Kft. decided to separate from the parent company and since then we are an independent video game distributor with 100% Hungarian ownership.

From February 1st, 2011, the company changed its name and continues its work as PlayON Hungary Kft.

Besides distribution, we also localize our games, and after localizing more than 200 PC games we consider ourselves considerably experienced in this field. The excellent quality of the translations is verified with the help of our professional proofreaders and testers, supported by experienced programmers.

Strategic Collaboration between PlayON and An-Tec

In May 2011, PlayON agreed to a strategic collaboration with An-Tec Kft., a company with more than 15 years of history on the Hungarian video game market. As a result, the publisher portfolio of the two companies was contracted, thus creating the biggest independent video game distributor in Hungary.

In addition to the videogame distribution, we started to publish a wide range of Disney coloring and activity books in 2012.

The company’s portfolio is continuously expanding: our products can be found on the shelves of hypermarkets, bookstore networks, supermarkets, and drug stores.

Since January 2012, as the end result of the PlayON - An-Tec strategic cooperation, PlayON Magyarország Ltd. took over the exclusive distribution rights of Ubisoft and NCsoft products for Hungary, which were distributed by An-Tec Ltd. before.

From June 2013, our company has acquired the Hungarian distribution rights of Playseat racing seats and accessories.| ]]
