Key points
- Remake of Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, which was originally released for Sega Master System console in 1989
- Runs on custom engine based on the reverse engineered cartridge and the source code of the original Master System release[2]
- Includes option to switch between original and new presentation on the fly. The graphics and soundtrack can be toggled separately
- Has additional content over the original such as multiple difficulty levels, bonus dungeons and selectable gender for the player character
- Supports the original passwords from the Master System and Game Gear versions
