- 01:48, 2 January 2023 diff hist +167 Red Faction →Field of view (FOV): Added additional information on displaying current FOV and restoring default behaviour after having changed it.
- 22:28, 1 January 2023 diff hist -1,382 Red Faction →Demos: Consolidation as suggested by Aemony
- 21:55, 1 January 2023 diff hist -128 Red Faction →Demos: Removed unnecessary text by moving download links to titles (suggested by mrtnptrs)
- 21:25, 1 January 2023 diff hist +1,243 Red Faction →Digital: Expanding list of differences in German GOG version
- 20:49, 1 January 2023 diff hist +175 Red Faction →Audio: Noting how broken the German GOG.com version is - seriously, no one should ever use this thing, wow. I'll expand the Version Differences section as well to add further context
- 19:46, 1 January 2023 diff hist -4 Red Faction →Essential improvements: removing unnecessary "the"
- 19:29, 1 January 2023 diff hist +166 Red Faction →Audio: Updating localization pack links - the French and German conversion packs that were previously linked were both incomplete, and in the case of the German one, required a user to overwrite core game files unnecessarily. New links are to complete and fully functional translation packs with translated instructions. Also fixed some text to make it more clear.
- 15:35, 1 January 2023 diff hist +39 Red Faction →Essential improvements: Updating patches section to indicate that while 1.21 does resolve a (very) small amount of compatibility issues, it also introduces some brand new bugs (at least 2 that we know of).
- 15:27, 1 January 2023 diff hist 0 Red Faction →Dash Faction: Replacing direct download link with link to information page (with download button). Information page has feature list, reviews, etc. so is a better landing page. The URL I used is always updated to redirect to the download page for the latest version released, so the page won't need to be edited each time.
- 17:37, 31 December 2022 diff hist +226 Red Faction →Availability: Restored download links to demo SP maps.
- 17:30, 31 December 2022 diff hist +85 Red Faction →Version differences: Restored line about Russian bootleg copies that was removed by MyStyle (probably accidentally)
- 17:27, 31 December 2022 diff hist +40 Red Faction →Game crashes when picking up items or entering cheat codes: Added high resolution info.
- 17:26, 31 December 2022 diff hist -63 Red Faction →At least 8 MB of video memory is required error: Clarified this section. Fixbox gives the fix for retail versions and text already states that it happens when launching the retail version, so mentioning that it doesn't happen with the digital version is redundant and potentially confusing.
- 17:19, 31 December 2022 diff hist +286 Red Faction →Issues fixed
- 16:59, 31 December 2022 diff hist +83 Red Faction →Version differences
- 16:51, 31 December 2022 diff hist +3,737 Red Faction →Other information: Added first revision of version differences and demos section.
- 15:49, 31 December 2022 diff hist +236 Red Faction →Dash Faction: Just realized these options were listed in the wrong order and the prompt string was incorrect - the prompt appears when you attempt to launch game with the path set to an unsupported executable, not immediately when launching the launcher. Also added instructions specific to retail installs. Previously, a retail disc user who hadn't yet installed v1.20 would be breaking their ability to play multiplayer by following the instructions as written. This is fixed now.
- 15:14, 31 December 2022 diff hist +421 Red Faction →Dash Faction: Added some additional context surrounding support for Steam functions, and made a note of the features that will be unavailable if using the manual install method. The way it was presented prior, I felt a reasonable person may not realize they'd be losing out on features if using the manual installation method. With this info indicated, they can make an informed choice and know the impact of the decision.
- 14:52, 31 December 2022 diff hist +20 Red Faction →Essential improvements: Moved and slightly edited compatibility note to avoid confusion with the "only compatible with NA RF v1.20" piece.
- 14:50, 31 December 2022 diff hist -557 Red Faction →Essential improvements: Removing official patches section because while the information is completely correct, it isn't an essential improvement, and isn't particularly useful to a player. v1.21 comes stock (no install required) for digital releases, and v1.20 solves effectively none of the issues a player will encounter with the v1.00 release. Dash Faction is needed in both cases, so I feel it's confusing to list the official patches under Essential Improvements - should just be Dash.
