Super Nintendo Entertainment System Controller | |
- Also known as NES Controller.
Key points
- Requires adapter to connect to PC.
- Lacks native XInput support, requiring the use of a XInput wrapper (see XInput wrappers) for games that do not support DirectInput or the controller natively.
Controller variations
- In 2016 Nintendo released replica of the original NES Controller - NES Classic Controller which is designed for use with the Nintendo Entertainment System - NES Classic Edition. It can also be plugged into a Wii Remote controller, so it's possible to use it with Virtual Console NES games on Wii or Wii U console and works with their adapters.
- Controller's cord is short, only 0.91 m (3-foot).
Hardware
Mayflash NES Controller Adapter
