High GPU usage or temperature

Limit the frame rate using the game settings^[2]^[3]
From the game's main menu, choose OPTIONS, then VIDEO. Set VERTICAL SYNC to NO. (This limits the frame rate, since the game's Vsync setting is reversed.)^[4] Exit the settings menu to save changes.

Issues unresolved

Pressing `Esc` on Credits screen freezes game

If this happens, press Alt+F4 to force the game to quit.^[5]^[6]
