Check if the application is being run with Vista compatibility, if so and it is grayed out click "Change settings for all users" and un-check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and clickk apply. Once this is done close your steam.exe and all steam related processes or restart your computer, restart Steam and launch The Walking Dead this "should" fix the issue, and fix the stuttering caused by using the advent of the Windows 98/ME fix. On a sidenote before trying this fix make sure your "The Walking Dead.exe" isn't running in Windows 98/ME compatibility mode. If it is, it makes this fix pointless because the actual game is still being run in that compatibility mode and will still cause stuttering. |

Controller support on Mac
Telltale has stated that controllers are not officially supported on the Mac[1].
However, by installing the unofficial Mac OSX Xbox 360 Controller driver provided by tattiebogle.net, players can plug in their wired Xbox 360 controllers and the controller will be recognized by the game.
Please note players may need to restart their Macs in order for the controller to be recognized by this driver (as of version 0.11).

No Invert Y-Axis Option
This game does not include a native invert y-axis option.[2]
The utility SakasaMouse or Polynomial's Mouse Inverter will invert y-axis on the mouse controls, and is reported to work in the game. Using this driver will also invert the y-axis mouse controls for all aspects of the game, including menu items.
The Walking Dead does not recognize any analogue stick inversions using Xpadder.[3]
System requirements
- Steam requirements state that playing the title is not recommended for Intel integrated graphics or Mac Minis or early-generation MacBooks.
