Multiplayer

Like the console versions of the game, the PC version does not include online co-op multiplayer, but features local co-op multiplayer.

Digital Rights Management (DRM)

Wikipedia:Ubisoft have stated that no PC versions of the game will include DRM.[1] This is surprising considering many other Wikipedia:Ubisoft's PC titles released in this period use the obstructive Uplay.

Controller Support

File:Rayman Origins controls.png
Each player must map their controls manually.

Controllers are supported, including the Xbox 360 Controller. However, it is not 'natively' implemented as in other games. Each action needs to be bound to a key, including the controls of each player in a multiplayer game.

Additionally, a controller will only be detected if it is connected before the game client is started.

Diagonal Movement

Reportedly there are problems with using diagonal controls, including keyboard diagonal movement and D-pad controls.[2] The best way to resolve this would be to use the analogue stick on a controller for movement.

Default Xbox 360 Controller Controls

These default controls are taken from the Rayman Origins Xbox 360 manual.[3]

Left Thumbstick: Move

A Button: Jump. Fly (Hold). Join Game. Fire (Moskito Levels). Autofire (Hold, Moskito Levels).

X Button: Hit. Power Attack (Hold). Inhale (Hold, Moskito Levels).

Start Button: Pause Menu

Right Trigger: Sprint (Hold)

Back Button: Become a Bubble (Multiplayer Only). Leave Game (Tap Twice).
