− | ==Boot Camp==
| |
− | Boot Camp is a program that enables the installation of Windows onto a separate partition on a Mac, and allows the user to choose which operating system to boot into. Unlike virtualization only one operating system is running at a time, meaning that operating system is making full use of all system resources. Once the bootcamp partition has been installed, you can easily boot your mac as a windows computer and thereby alternate between operating systems easily. However, boot camp isn't compatible with older macs. It should also be mentioned that some of the newer generation of mac computers are difficult to install a windows partition on and they require several work arounds. That being said, most macs run bootcamp perfectly and it truly feels like having both a windows and a mac computer.
