Feature was locked to certain headsets on PS4. Despite being available on PC, it does not seem to result in proper 3D sound. Zombies sound close despite being far away, positioning is all wrong. Setting it to 5.1 Surround and using any other virtual surround sound solution (e.g. Dolby Atmos for Headphones) yields more expected results.
