about Wipeout: Phantom Edition source port

I know its very cool source port, but since it requires PS1 game iso its kinda not really relevant to PC gaming wiki, no?

I thought about that myself, but it is ultimately a native PC port, even if you need a copy of the PS1 game for the assets, and practically speaking most people who want to play this game are gonna find this is the best way to do it. (Needing the PS1 game...isn't really much of an obstacle for most people, let's be honest. There are Ways to deal with it.)

Plus, other game decomps like Mario 64 and Driver 2 have pages on this wiki, so I don't think it's too much of a leap to include it on this page. Admittedly, it might make more sense for Phantom Edition to have a seperate page on this wiki. I'll be damned if I'll be the one able to put that together though.

Yes, you are probably right!

Only the PC version of Wipeout has had it's source code available online which has some bits of the PSX MIPS code.

So technically the source port is a PC game ;)

So long as it requires the PlayStation version of the game to run and not the PC version, it should probably receive its own page, with a link to Phantom Edition on the PC version's page as a notice that there's a potentially better way to play.

It's also a little concerning that source code isn't provided. Aside from not encouraging ports to other platforms, it makes it difficult to verify the project's safety.
