The Turtle Beach VelocityOne Race is a racing wheel released by Turtle Beach on February 26, 2024.

The VelocityOne Race is Turtle Beach's first racing wheel, featuring the specialized K-Drive direct drive motor that have a peak torque of 7.2Nm in its wheel base. The wheel base have a quick-release system for swapping out the wheel rim with another, and a large telemetry LCD screen which is supported by Turtle Beach's own VelocityOne Tuner app and third-party apps like Simhub. The wheel base also have four expansion USB Type-C for accessories. VelocityOne Race also come with a 300mm wheel rim (which can be attached to the wheel base via its quick release system), a 3 pedal set that contain a loadcell-based brake and a VelocityOne Control Unit. The VelocityOne Race is also an Xbox-compatible racing wheel base.

On PC, it is compatible with numerous racing games, but requires the VelocityOne Tuner app to be installed to work. The wheel base's settings can be further adjusted using just the wheel base itself or the VelocityOne Tuner app. Button layouts varies between equipped steering wheels/hubs.

Use with PC platforms

MacOS and Linux are currently not supported.

Windows

When in native mode, Windows 10 and Windows 11 detect the VelocityOne Race, but is unusable without additional software.
Requires VelocityOne Tuner app installed on the PC to work.

Turtle Beach VelocityOne Tuner

Companion app that can adjust the settings on the VelocityOne Race.
Button inputs and paddle shifters can be reconfigured.
The steering sensitivity, force feedback strength, center force strength, soft steering locks and pedal sensitivity can be adjusted.
The color lighting on the wheel and VCU attached to the wheel base can be adjusted.
Can be used to make customization on the VelocityOne Race's 10 built-in profiles.
Can be used to update the VelocityOne Race's firmware.
Doesn't support profile on per-game basic and support automatic profile switch.
Some games are not supported by the app for showing telemetry data on the wheel base's LCD screen. See Simhub for workaround for those unsupported game titles.

Simhub

Third-party solution for telemetry data, motion platform support, bass shaker and others.
Can be used as an alternative to the VelocityOne Tuner app for showing telemetry data on the wheel base's LCD screen.

Support in games

Turtle Beach does provided a list of supported games on their site.
Some games, particularly the Codemasters-developed games, requires manual configurations.[1]
