The Razer Raiju Mobile is a game controller released by Razer on October 10, 2018.[1]

Based on the Raiju Tournament Edition, the Raiju Mobile was designed specifically to be used in conjunction with a mobile phone. On the top of the controller is an integrated, rotatable phone grip.

Out of the box, the Raiju Mobile act as a generic DirectInput controller, but can work as an XInput controller when Razer's driver is installed. The audio jack on the controllers only works when wired.

Use with PC platforms

USB-C

Connect the controller
  1. Use the included USB-C to USB Type-A cable to connect the controller to a USB port on the computer. Make sure that the toggle switch is set to ᴡɪʀᴇᴅ.
  2. The controller will automatically be recognized by the supported OS and install generic driver for it.
  • Out of the box, the controller work as a DirectInput controller.

Bluetooth

Pair the controller
  1. Make sure the Bluetooth functionality is enabled in your OS and the controller's toggle switch is set to either ʙᴛ1 or ʙᴛ2.
  2. Begin by turning the controller to off by holding ʜᴏᴍᴇ for ten seconds.
  3. Put the controller in pairing mode by holding down ꜱᴛᴀʀᴛ+ʜᴏᴍᴇ at the same time until the indicator light does two quick flashes of white, turns off, then repeats the pattern.
  4. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings of the host device's operating system, select "Razer Raiju Mobile" and pair it.
  • If asked for a pair code, use 0000.

Out of the box, the Raiju Mobile will act as a native DirectInput controller, but can work as an XInput controller when Razer's drivers were installed.

Out of the box, the Raiju Mobile are recognized as a generic controller.

Steam Link compatibility

Wired or wireless works. Press
Can be used just to send input from a controller to a PC. Go into Streaming options, hit and disable video and audio streaming.
Won't work great unless the streaming device is connected to LAN or a low latency Wi-Fi.

Controller profile and remapping

Binding the remappable buttons requires the use of Razer Raiju Mobile app on Android.

Setting up and pairing to the smartphone
  1. Switch the controller's toggle to ʙᴛ1 (For Bluetooth) or ᴡɪʀᴇᴅ (For USB).
  2. Pair to the smartphone using the same pairing method as it was on PC for the controller side.
  3. Install the Razer Raiju Mobile app on the smartphone and open the app. If asked, grant the app the permission to use the smartphone's Bluetooth.
  4. Within the app, select "Razer Raiju Mobile" in the list of controller.
  5. For use with Bluetooth connectivity, press "Search" and wait for the smartphone to be paired with the controller.

Remapping the buttons

  1. In the Razer Raiju Mobile app while being paired with the controller, select one of the profiles listed under the "Profile" list.
  2. In the remapping menu, select one of the remappable buttons.
  3. Select any of the buttons (, , , , △ ᴛʀɪᴀɴɢʟᴇ, ○ ᴄɪʀᴄʟᴇ, × ᴄʀᴏss, □ sᴏ̨ᴜᴀʀᴇ, L1, R1, L2, R2, L3, R3, ᴄʀᴇᴀᴛᴇ, ᴏᴘᴛɪᴏɴs) to bind them to the remappable button.

Support In Games

Out of the box, the Raiju Mobile is supported by games that use the DirectInput API. On the other hand, Razer's XInput drivers have to be installed for it to be supported by games that only use the XInput API.
Support for some controller features may be only available on certain systems. Refer to game-specific articles for details.

Firmware updates

Controller firmware can be updated from Windows devices using the firmware updater which can be found on the support pages for the controller. Update process requires wired connection.
