The MOZA R5 is a racing wheel base by released by MOZA Racing in September 2022.

The R5 is a direct-drive wheel base with a 5.5 Nm motor housed inside the aviation-grade aluminum housing. As with other MOZA wheel bases, it has a quick-release system that allows user to switch the steering wheel. The R5 has two accessory ports, with one for pedals and one for dashboard.

It was released as a standalone wheel base set and a bundle that include a ES Steering Wheel, a table clamp and a 2-pedal SR-P Lite Pedals.

On PC, the R5 is compatible with several games, but must have MOZA Racing's Pit House (which include the driver package) installed to work. Button layouts vary between equipped steering wheels/hubs.

Use with PC platforms

MacOS and Linux are not supported.

Windows

Windows 10 and Windows 11 do detect the wheel, but requires MOZA Pit House to be installed.

MOZA Pit House

Software utility that also come with the necessary driver for the MOZA wheel bases, steering wheels, pedals and other add-ons.
The steering sensitivity, various force feedback settings, steering locks, pedal sensitivity, shifter/handbrake settings can be adjusted.
It is possible to adjust the same settings using the MOZA Pit House mobile app, but requires the phone to be paired to the wheel base via Bluetooth. The app is available for Android and iOS
There is no game profile function.

13-inches steering wheel with frame made from aviation-grade aluminum.
2 magnetic paddle shifters, 2 clickable joysticks and 2 rotary encoders.

MOZA SR-P Lite Pedals

3 pedal set with hall-effect sensors.
The 2 pedal version of the set is included in the R5 base bundle.

MOZA SR-P Lite Clutch Pedal

Add-on for adding the third pedal to the included SR-P Lite Pedals of the R5 base bundle.

MOZA HGP Shifter

H-pattern shifter with 7 gears and a reverse gear.
Can be either directly connect to PC via USB or to a MOZA wheel base via RJ11.
Requires a table clamp for mounting onto the table.
Requires a Universal Hub.

MOZA HBP Handbrake

Handbrake made in aluminum.
Can be either directly connect to PC via USB or to a MOZA wheel base via RJ11.
Requires a table clamp for mounting onto the table.
Requires a Universal Hub.

MOZA Universal Hub

A hub act as a bridge to connect multiple RJ11-powered MOZA devices to a PC.
Required for MOZA HBP Handbrake and MOZA HGP Shifter.

MOZA Racing have provided a list of supported games on PC.
Telemetry support vary between games.
