The Fanatec Forza Motorsport CSR Elite is a racing wheel base released by Fanatec in December 2011.

Unlike the CSR, the CSR Elite has an all-aluminum construction, and have a dual-motor belt-driven force feedback powered by a pair of Mabuchi RS550 motors for 5Nm of peak torque. The PS/2 ports on past Fanatec wheels have been replaced by two RJ12 ports, which become a standard for many future Fanatec wheel bases to come. The CSR Elite also has a quick release system, but unlike its successor, it is not standardized and thus not compatible with many Fanatec steering wheels.

On PC, the CSR Elite is compatible with games that incorporate Fanatec's SDK, but requires the wheel base to be in PC mode and have older version of Fanatec's own driver installed to work (See Use with PC platforms). By default, the CSR doesn't come with a pedal set, so a separate purchase of a compatible Fanatec pedal is required.
