Nah... NFSMW 2005 was never optimized well. It's known from it's infamous bad memory management (maybe even leading to performance issues on weak CPUs like the OP's). I have similar results w/o DXVK like the OP - never much above 60FPS, framerate doesn't feel too stable (can't remember frame pacing - maybe that's the issue) I think I also had some FPS drops, but not so drastic. I eventually locked FPS/used VSync and it was somehow better. Back then I also tried DXVK, and it didn't help me, but I didn't use so many commandlines. I need to check them and I'll let you know. Actually if we confirm that the fix works on both leading GPU manufacturs, then it should be posted as a fix for old CPUs with low IPC. Even as checked on only one GPU manufacturer and CPU. Benefits of using DXVK may vary on GPU and CPU and it won't harm to simply post the fix with tested configurations where it's confirmed to give FPS boost.
