Graphical Tweak & Performance Improvements

SSAO: xr_ssao 1 (choose from 1-3, AA enabled in-game options)

Performance boost: xr_adaptivequalitymode 0 (default 1, also change color mode from 16 bit to 8 bit - big fps boost especially when using eye-shine.

True black colors= vid_gamma 0 and vid_blacklevel 0 (default game is way too bright)

Unresolved Issues

Save files will delete themselves if you pause or leave the game and you computer goes into screen saver mode.

• Please do note that there is a problem with the steam version of The Chronicles of Riddick (might affect other version of the game but unknown so far). If you launch TCoR and go away from your computer for a period of time where you computer can go to screensaver mode it will erase all your save files for the current game your playing.

For example: Your finished the story line for Escape from Butchers Bay and are half way through Assault on Dark Athena and you paused the game or are in the main menu and go away for enough time for your computer to go into screen saver mode, it will erase all files from Assault on Dark Athena because it is the last game you played.

To resolve this launch the game and play it and exit the game without leaving it running or disable screen saver mode.

System requirements

After activating the game for a third time TAGES will start a 30-day timer. After 30 days you will get that activation back up to 3 total activations. This does not apply to the GOG.com version which has no DRM.
