Issues fixed

Audio pops during cutscenes on newer Windows OS

The game's cutscenes rely on a old direct sound dll file for proper sound playback from the CD. when installed on newer OS like Windows 10, this game will use the dll file of the latest version which causes the above issue.
Download the following dll file and place it in the game directory.

Notes

  1. When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
