Troubleshooting
Game crashes after seeing or going through a portal:
Make sure you are running Portal in DirectX 9 or higher. Trying to run the game in DirectX 8.1 will cause the game to crash when a portal appears.
Console Commands
Games running on the source engine can utilize Source engine console commands for various tasks.
