Run start.exe^{[citation needed]}
Run `<path-to-game>\start.exe` Choose Options. Set your resolution and choose OK. The new resolution will take effect in-game.

White flashes and artifacts

Disable Processor Specific Graphics Pipeline (PSGP)^[1]
Run `<path-to-game>\start.exe` Choose Options. Uncheck Processor Specific Graphics Pipeline (PSGP). Click OK to save your changes.
