League of Legends is a MOBA game spawned from DOTA. League of Legends is a third person, action multiplayer game in which is unique to other games. There are two teams in a League match up, blue and purple. League of Legends is a game where the user controls a hero, also known as champion, and fight to win depending on the game mode. Each champion has unique abilities, and varying styles of art, and game play. This game is also team oriented, requiring communication, map awareness and determination.

Game Types

League comes with two different types of game modes; Dominion and Classic. Both game types can be played player versus player or player vs bots. In addition to that, custom games may be played allowing for the user to choose his own enemies and teammates.

Classic

Classic mode is more of attack and defend. Teams can either be a 5 v 5 or a 3 v 3. The objective of this game type is to destroy the enemy Nexus. To do that you must go through a series of turrets and then ultimately damage and destroy the enemy nexus.

Dominion

Dominion is a game type similar to King of the Hill. The map itself, is a giant circle with paths running through the middle. There are 5 points of interests (I will call them turrets) , in which you need to capture and hold to win. Each team, blue and purple, spawn with their Nexus at 500 health. To win, one team must force the enemy team to reach 0 health with their Nexus. To do that, you must either, hold more turrets or kill the enemy champions. When the game first starts, Each champion starts at level 3 and with more cash then classic mode. Game matches usually last 10-20 minutes.
