By default, the game is confirmed NOT to work on Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10

Workaround 1^[1]

The fix is very rough, and takes substantial amount of time to get the game to work again after every playing session

Get the modification on the modder's website
[Recommended] Extract contents to any short-length (with name shorter than 8) directory without any spaces. For example, C:\Glover. Extracting to the installation directory is OK, as long as it is short and space-less
Run Glover and play the game
After you played, delete the files of: glover.log, dgVoodoo.conf and Glover.cfg. Then re-extract the original dgVoodoo.conf and Glover.cfg into the main directory
Repeat the last step after every playing session
