The Fanatec ClubSport DD are a series of racing wheel bases released by Fanatec since November 28, 2023.

The ClubSport DD is a mid-tier direct-drive wheel base, sitting between the CSL DD/GT DD PRO and the Podium. The 12Nm/15Nm direct-drive motor that the wheel base have is Fanatec's smoothest, most responsive motor ever designed, with the new FullForce force feedback protocol that is capable of generate detailed force feedback than prior Fanatec direct-drive wheel bases, while reduce the variation in the wheel base's slew rate.

The wheel base's outer shell resemble the GT DD Pro, but is longer to accommodate the more powerful direct-drive motor. On the back of the ClubSport DD are four RJ12 ports, one USB-C port (for connecting to PC and console) and a CAN bus port. The ClubSport DD is the first Fanatec wheel base to be equipped with the QR2 quick release by default, though it can be downgraded to the older QR1 quick release with an optional wheel base drive shaft.

There are two different models that were announced on October 13, 2023: the PC-only model with 12Nm of torque and the PlayStation-compatible ClubSport DD+ (Sporting the blue trim on the back of the wheel base instead of yellow on the PC-only model) with 15Nm of torque. The PC-only model is open for preorder since the announcement, with preorder for the ClubSport DD+ open on October 22.[1] The DD+ was planned to be released on December 19, 2023, but was delayed to February 28, 2024 due to certification issues with Sony. Two bundles for the ClubSport DD+ wheel base were made available: the Gran Turismo DD Extreme, announced and made available on February 9, 2024, includes a specialized wheel rim designed by Polyphony Digital as part of the package.[2] The other bundle, the ClubSport Racing Wheel F1, announced on and made available on Match 6, 2024, included a PlayStation version of the ClubSport Steering Wheel Formular v2.5 as part of the package.

On PC, the wheel bases are compatible with games that incorporate Fanatec's SDK, but requires the wheel base to be in PC mode or Comp V2.5 Mode and have Fanatec's own driver installed to work. The wheel base's settings can be further adjusted using the wheel base itself, the driver's Fanatec Control Panel software or the Fanalab software. While most bundle sets have most, if not all, the required items to work out of the box, the standalone wheel base sets need other Fanatec products (specifically, a steering wheel compatible with QR2 quick release) to be usable. Because the hardware ID is the same as CSL DD/GT DD Pro, the ClubSport DD wheel bases are compatible with games that natively support CSL DD/GT DD Pro. Do note that with the exception of the GT Extreme wheel, the wheel base will limit its max torque to 8Nm if the wheel with the plastic QR2 Lite quick release is detected. Button layouts vary between equipped steering wheels/hubs.

The GT Extreme wheel included in the GT DD Extreme bundle is only compatible with the ClubSport DD+ and any attempt to attach to other Fanatec wheel bases will likely result in crash and reboot.[3]
