The Fanatec Podium is a racing wheel base released by Fanatec on Jul 13, 2018.

A next high-end model within the Fanatec racing wheel bases, the Podium has a direct-drive force feedback, with the peak torque measured up to 20Nm to 25Nm. The wheel base also has a built-in small OLED display, showing various real-time performance metrics of the wheel base as well as showing the wheel base's mode. For safety reason, the Podium is electronically limited to 9Nm of peak torque by default, unless a supplied torque key is plugged into the back of the Podium to unlock the full torque. As with many Fanatec wheel bases, it has several RJ12 ports on the back for accessories, as well as the QR1 wheel quick release system. The upgrade to the QR2 Base-Side shaft for the QR2 quick release is available for older batches of the wheel bases, and future batches will comes with the QR2 Base-Side shaft by default.

The Podium is available in three different models: The DD1 with 20Nm of peak torque, the DD2 with 25Nm of peak torque and comes with a Podium Kill Switch, and the PlayStation-compatible Podium Racing Wheel F1 that was based on the DD1 and comes with a F1-branded formula-styled steering wheel.

On PC, the wheel base is compatible with games that incorporate Fanatec's SDK, but requires the wheel base to be in PC mode and have Fanatec's own driver installed to work. The wheel base's settings can be further adjusted using just the wheel base itself, the driver's Fanatec Control Panel software or the Fanalab software. While most bundle sets has most, if not all, the required items to work out of the box, the standalone wheel base sets need other Fanatec products (specifically, a steering wheel compatible with QR1 quick release) to be usable. Button layouts vary between equipped steering wheels/hubs.
