Sega Racing Studio was established by Sega in 2005, for the sole purpose of developing AAA Sega racing titles.
Following the lackluster sales of Sega Rally Revo, Sega announced the closure of the studio on April 8, 2008. On April 25, Codemasters acquired and absorbed the studio.
