Spec Ops: The Line has encrypted configuration files.

Encrypted Configuration File

Main configuration file BaseInput.ini is encrypted. User Rick from the XeNTaX forums has developed a utility which can decrypt the file, allow it to be edited, and then re-encrypt the file so that Spec Ops: The Line can read it. The relevant post is on XeNTaX forum, where there is a direct link to the decrypter file download from Rick's own web hosting.[1][2][3]

1) BaseInput.ini open with Gibbed.SpecOpsTheLine.IniDecrypt.exe

2) edit BaseInput.ini using Notepad and save

3) BaseInput.ini open with Gibbed.SpecOpsTheLine.IniEncrypt.exe

4) (write-protect) finished.
