Resolution Fix

Dark Souls Rendering resolution are locked at 1024 x 720 just like it's console counterparts. However some modder at NEOGAF named Durante have created an 80 kb mod that can tell the game how to render at the resolution you wanted here http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?p=92

The download link is http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/DSfix.zip

Known Issues (from the blog):

  • Message text is not rendered correctly.
  • Does not work with the in-game AA (but that’s just a blur filter anyway)
  • Bad framerate reported on AMD cards, NV seems fine

Just copy both of the DLL file and DSfix.ini into the same location as the darks souls .exe file located. Edit the DSfix.ini with your notepad and type the resolution you wanted. Voila, it's all done.
