Pirates! Gold original Windows version on 64-bit Windows
The original Windows version of Pirates! Gold is a 16-bit Windows 3.x game so cannot be used on 64-bit versions of Windows without workarounds (e.g. virtualization). The easiest solution is to use the DOS version in DOSBox. Digital distribution releases are pre-packaged with DOSBox.[3][4]
